Mia's Table opened its doors in 2012 in the heart of Houston, Texas, just steps away from the original Carrabba's on Kirby. It was created by Johnny Carrabba—renowned restaurateur and founder of the Carrabba's restaurants—as a heartfelt tribute to his daughter, Mia. What started as a simple idea to serve comforting, home-style meals in a relaxed, family-friendly setting has grown into a beloved local favorite with multiple locations across the Houston area.
Johnny Carrabba is a Houston native and a proud member of a family with deep culinary roots. He's best known for building one of the most iconic names in Italian-American dining, but with Mia's Table, he wanted to do something a little different—something personal. He envisioned a restaurant that combined the best of both worlds: the convenience of fast-casual dining with the warmth, service, and hospitality of a sit-down meal shared with family.
