Mia's Table Memorial City opened its doors on November 16, 2020—right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. The timing made it a whirlwind, but for me personally, it was even more monumental—my youngest daughter was born the day before we opened. It's a time in my life I'll never forget, full of new beginnings both at home and at Mia's.

My name is Jiesi Aguilar, and I am proud to be the Managing Partner here at Memorial City. I've been part of the Mia's Table family since September 2018, starting as the Managing Partner at our Bay Area location before taking the leap to open this store. I moved here from Las Vegas to work for Johnny Carrabba, and I can honestly say it was the best decision of my life. The opportunity to grow, learn, and be part of something so special has shaped not only my career but who I am as a person.

Opening this location during such a challenging time was a true test of resilience and adaptability—it pushed me to learn on my feet and grow as both an operator and a leader. Through it all, I've discovered that my greatest passion lies in teaching and mentoring my team. Watching my staff grow and thrive has been the most rewarding part of this journey.

If I had to describe what makes Mia's Table Memorial City special, without a doubt, it's our people. They are truly amazing and make coming to work a pleasure every single day. Together, we live and breathe the Mia's culture, embracing the community and making sure every guest feels like family.
